Hey Guys! Since we’re half-way through November (which does technically count as the holiday season, right?) I couldn’t stand waiting until Christmas is upon us to share one of my favorite recipes with you because, trust me, you’ll want to enjoy these cranberry peach cocktails over the next few months. Although they have a holiday feel, I must admit I drink these year-round! They’re a bit of a spin on the traditional “woo-woo” cocktail, but I give it my own twist by adding a dash of extra peach flavoring and fresh lime juice and I serve it in a chilled glass. Also, by now you may know I’m a fan of any concoction that involves bubbly so I’ve also experimented by adding splashes of prosecco to give it an extra refreshing kick. Continue reading for the recipe and please share if you have a favorite cocktail that you enjoy during the holiday season.
CRANBERRY PEACH COCKTAIL:
- Peach Schnapps
- Chilled cranberry juice
- Fresh lime juice
- Optional: Garnishes such as cranberries or a peach slice on the glass rim
*Serve in a chilled glass as pictured above
1. Combine equal parts of cranberry juice and Peach Schnapps in shaker with ice. Add 1/2 part vodka.
2. Shake and pour into a martini glass or any chilled glass of your choice and add in a dash of fresh lime juice.
3. Add cranberries, peaches, or other garnish of your choice. Cheers!
*Tip: if you prefer a more bubbly drink as I typically do, add in Prosecco (like one of my favorites, Zonin Prosecco found at Trader Joe’s) in place of the vodka.
